“When I make a head out of glass of a person
and then we can laugh about it together, really laugh about it,
then it can happen that we become good friends.”
My friendships have in many cases resulted from intensive cooperation. It offers the ideal framework to really and intensively get to know each other. Because when you create demanding things together, with which everyone involved is then satisfied at some point, then everyone becomes completely transparent in their own way. Like my material glass. Then I recognise what I have in the other person. And whether I can accept it. Or not.

“Meetings with Ha Jü are always exciting, bring new perspectives, demands, ideas! I am happy when I can spend time with him!”
PHOTOGRAPHER & DESIGNER
Putting Ha Jü’s work in the right light and photographing it is always a challenge. When we are both satisfied, that is the best reward.
It is nice when I can help friends
with my work.

Of course, art connects me to Ha Jü and the many conversations about his and my art. We took a few painting trips to Italy together, and the creative exchange is always there.
